Players who owned any of the removed tables are still given full access to them (with continued support). Due to licensing issues, those tables were removed and the Season Pass system re-worked. Prior to July 2018, the game included numerous tables from Bally and Williams and were sold as "seasons" (see "Tables (Legacy)" below).

Along with limited trials for each table, the game includes a "Table of the Month" promotion that temporarily unlocks a single table for free access (with an advertisement at each subsequent game start). Tablesīase versions of the game include Mary Shelly's Frankenstein as a free table, with all other tables sold in packs. As it was removed from the marketplace yet again (in March 2018), there is no way to purchase it. After years of issues related to the bankruptcy fallout, the 360 version was relaunched on by Alliance Digital Media. Due to licensing issues, the Williams and Bally tables can no longer be purchased.

This spin-off was later discontinued, merging with the standard game on July 1, 2018. The game received a Stern-focused spin-off in 2016, titled Stern Pinball Arcade. The game was later digitally released for the Xbox 360 (published by Crave on April 4, 2012), both PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita (on April 10, 2012), Mac (via the Mac App Store on April 16, 2012), Ouya (on June 25, 2013), both PC and Mac (via Steam on November 4, 2013), PlayStation 4 (on October 17, 2013), Xbox One (on November 25, 2014), Wii U (on April 21, 2016), and Nintendo Switch (on April 6, 2018). Custom pinballs and challenges (both normal and "Wizard") also make a return. Similar to the studio's previous Pinball Hall of Fame collections ( Gottlieb Collection and Williams Collection), each table is recreated with pinpoint precision, including the ability to modify internal settings (the "operators menu") of each table. It contains numerous recreations of real-world pinball machines, both original and licensed, from some of the most prominent pinball manufacturers throughout history (including Gottlieb, Stern, Williams, and Bally). Along with new tables, it received releases on numerous platforms over the years and was made free-to-play.
